I am looking for information about my Gorrie connection. I know that John Gorrie (Scotland) immigrated to South Carolina in the early 1800s, where my great great grandmother Annie was born in 1821. They (or she) subsequently returned to England, where she was first governess and later married my great great grandfather. George Lee Patteson. Trying to find any connections.
